CoachView Tips: 4 Ways to Navigate Through Your Video

By FirecrackerSW - Thumbnail

One of CoachView’s core features is being able to watch your videos frame-by-frame, to further analyze your technique or stance as an athlete. To help you move throughout your videos easily, CoachView has a a few different ways you can navigate while working with a video.

1. Video Scrubber

The scrubber is the large timeline at the bottom of the screen. By dragging left or right, you can quickly move through each frame of a video. This is great for watching a certain action back and forth, at a slower speed you control.

2. Timeline Bar

The timeline bar is found above the scrubber. It shows the current timeframe of the video you are on and has an option on the right to change the playback speed of the video. This is best for making big jumps through a video to easily find the part you want to analyze.

3. Double-Tap Skipping

Another useful feature in CoachView is being able to skip through a video. You can do this by simply double-tapping the left or right side of a video. After doing it once, it will pop up the skip buttons so you can tap them easier as you go through frames.

Another tip to note, the amount of time skipped is relative to the video being paused or playing. If the video is paused while double-tapping, it will skip one frame. If the video is playing while double-tapping, it will skip 5 seconds.

4. Playback Speed

You can easily pause and play a video by tapping on it once. If you want to play the video in different speeds, you can either go to the video’s settings from the top right dropdown or by tapping on the speed multiplier on the right side of the timeline bar.
